"The Project" and Fangoria Weekend of Horrors NYC

Chris Margaritis came by on Wed for some pick up shots of the Backyard Scene where he wakes up on the deck and runs to the tool shed to grab his backpack while all hell has broken loose. The film is coming along well, slowly but surely. There was a little concern on Tuesday when we kept on running into issues with sound at the location (not through the camera, but from the actual location) and other minor issues but we got passed it and are moving forward with the film.

The interesting thing is that the film is similiar to "Mr. Mullen". The only difference with this film is that it's more compact with a storyline where as "Mr. Mullen" was build up from a scene which gave more freedom to make the film and put together pieces to a puzzle. For "The Project" which is our third go around to making it (first time was an issue with the camera in low light situation with adapter, second time was scheduling and more shooting dates that were not available), this version is very similiar to the first try, but with an open location and not so much a closed in location where we had set up lights. Also, the first version was about nuclear war, but this one is more about Mind Control and a Militia who wants to take back America if Martial Law were to hit due to a catastrophy or false flag terrorist attack.

Yesterday picked up Paul Kratka from MacArthur Airport yesterday - was a cloudy, over-cast day, perfect setting for mood for a horror film shoot, ha! We went over some things for the convention last night (ie: headshots and Friday the 13th photos he's selling, etc) and today is the first evening of the convention. We're on our way in a bit to set up everything for the convention and then doors open at 5 PM. Will more than likely post pictures at some point.
