By the end of the weekend, we should have new video media up on the site. I have to get my exporting media fixed - unfortunately I can't export high quality media from my Media100 program nor Final Cut Pro. I dropped off the tape with about five new media clips to Mike Rubinstein of RubyFilmz.com so he should have the new media up soon.
Paul Kratka is currently being interviewed for Fridaythe13thfilms.com . Not sure if it's more questions about Friday the 13th Part 3 like their last interview back in June 2008 or if it's going to touch on what he's been working on in the years after Friday the 13th Part 3 but I'm always interested in seeing new interviews with Paul. Always learn something new through other peoples questions I feel.
Mr. Mullen Trailer should be up soon as well as a two and a half minute interview I did with Paul back in 2007 where he talks about the independent filmmaking process as well as working on Friday the 13th Part 3. All of the content for the site is being scored by Mark Nadolski, whom has been a great help as far as sound design (for Loss of Hope and Mr. Mullen) and coming up with some unique scores for all of these little pieces that will be on the site.
I wrote down a list of a few more scenes I want to shoot to finish the film. I have in mind a train sequence with Chris Margaritis which we were going to shoot in March but due to the train schedule and the one-take we had, we decided to get a shot of Chris going on the train, which didn't work out well since we had set up for a shot below the platform where the camera was safe from the heavy snow. Always important to make sure the equipment is in working order rather than taking chances when you feel it might damage the equipment if you do take that chance.
Also need to shoot either Kelly preaching on a cloudy day to match previous scenes, or another actor who will serve as "Preacher #2" in the film. I'm hoping Chiko Mendez can do it. He went to Miami a few weeks back to shoot a feature length and might be back by now. Sent him an e-mail so we shall see. Or we might work with someone new... As long as they know the topics that the preacher will be preaching in the film. That's very important to keep it authentic, which is why working with Kelly Karavites has worked out so well. He has a full arscenal of knowledge and facts which is good and makes the scenes work out well.
