So last night I decided to go the ER because I was having trouble breathing while lying down and it was unbearable so I went and they said everything with me was fine: Oxygen levels, heartbeat, etc which was good for reassurance, but that I had bronchitis (which I could have gotten from anywhere since it's a virus). The whole point of writing this is to explain how an ER visit and many other experiences we have are so important as filmmakers. There is something about experiencing a workplace such as a hospital from the kind people who work there, to the hope of one day shooting a scene in a hospital hallway or having ideas come to your mind for films. The way they hook you up to do tests on you is interesting, as well as the process of getting an X-Ray, and seeing the type of atmosphere that a hospital can bring - so those were some interesting things I'll never forget.
Shooting tomorrow as well as Wed and Thursday for "The Project" and hope to get as much as I can because it is possible that I can get more run down from lugging equipment, setting up shots, driving an hour away which is where we have to shoot (Riverhead, New York), etc but I figure might as well try rather than not go at all because sometimes that's when you get the best footage. Sort of like when you're not feeling so well and you don't feel like going to the gym but when you force yourself to go and when you're done, you feel as if it's the best workout you've ever had. So best thing is to take it a day at a time.
